State Board Director Tim Jaggars owns and operates his family farm in Lake Ariel, where his family has farmed for more than a century. Growing up, Tim’s family was in the dairy business. Today, the Jaggars’ farm has shifted to beef, hay and vegetable production, with their largest crop being garlic. Tim has also expanded into poultry, having recently set up a processing facility, raising and direct marketing chickens and fresh Thanksgiving turkeys. Both Tim and his wife, Lisa, have been involved in the equine industry for more than 30 years.

Jaggars was elected to the Wayne/Pike County Farm Bureau Board of Directors in 2014 and was elected President in 2019.

Off the farm, Jaggars worked as a building contractor from when he graduated from Western Wayne High School in 1984 until he closed his corporation in 2022. In 2013, Jaggars became a Township Supervisor, where he works each day. For 24 years he worked in the evenings as a farrier. Jaggars currently sits on the Board of Directors for the Wayne County Conservation District, which he has done for the past 11 years. He also sits on the Board of Directors for WEDCO, a county organization to promote business, education and job opportunities throughout Wayne County. Jaggars was a member of the Lake Ariel Volunteer Fire Company, where he served for more than 25 years, working from President of the Relief Association for many years, to becoming the Assistant Fire Chief for 10 years.

Tim and Lisa have been married since 1988 and are high school sweethearts. They attend Waymart Presbyterian Church.
